Mothering Sunday at WoodKraft Cheltenham
Mother’s Day this year (2020) falls on Sunday 22nd March. Mother’s Day is dedicated to honouring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
This year, we’ve partnered with The Flower Man, Cheltenham, to bring every mum on the table a beautiful mini bouquet of flowers with a reservation for brunch or lunch. That’s your meal and a Mother’s Day gift sorted in one swoop!
Family occasions such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day deserve as many people round the table, dining, chatting and enjoying each other’s company as possible! Sundays at WoodKraft bring not only all-day brunch but huge boards of sharing roast dinners in order to achieve just that.
Our roast boards are designed to bring family and friends together, and Instagram post worthy!

Pancake Day
Celebrate pancake day at WoodKraft in Cheltenham with our exclusive pancake sharing board available Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th February 2020.
Did you know?
The largest pancake in the world reportedly measured 49 ft and 3in long and the tallest stack of pancakes was 213 high.
Whilst we haven’t quite managed to persuade out chefs to take on that large of a challenge yet, we are serving up 8 delicious pancakes in a combination of 4 flavours.
The board will include:
- Classic Lemon and Sugar
- Bacon and maple syrup
- Grilled pineapple and coconut
- Banana and walnut
Whilst you’re deciding whether to tackle all 8 on your own or to let someone help (a little) … Here’s MasterChef Champion, Simon Wood’s top tips for pancake day:
“My favourite is lemon and sugar, classic and traditional. Remember, good thing’s come to those who wait – resting the batter is an important step that gives the gluten time to relax and settle down. This makes for pancakes that are soft, light and fluffy. Use this time to tidy up and prep your toppings!”

Tomahawk Friday is coming to WoodKraft on Friday 8 November.
Simon Wood has fast made a name for his take on the spectacular Tomahawk steak at fine dining restaurant Wood Manchester. For those that haven’t tried it – it’s a rib-eye on the bone and is so called because the bone is as big as an axe!
It’s a serious cut of beef: pink and juicy in the middle, charred on the edges, tender and flavourful. And it’s big enough to share.
For one night only Simon himself will host a meaty feast to remember at WoodKraft Cheltenham.
The menu will include:
Pork and caramelised apple terrine with toasts
Kilo Tomohawk steak to share accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes, winter greens and peppercorn sauce for 2
Raspberry, chocolate and honeycomb dessert.
£45 per person
We only do this night twice a year so book your table now!
